The ED% and life leech are both very relevant on physical bowzons. Thorns alone speed up boss and throne clears by insane amount making it better than pretty much anything else. Bowzons shouldn’t ever level without decoy/valkyrie, why would you think otherwise ? It just show you have no experience doing this. Lvl15 Thorns is also massive on Normal/NM. Attack speed is the single most important offensive stats for bowzons while leveling. Lots of words to show you have no clue what you are talking about, wth.ģ5% IAS is massive and can be paired with many 20% IAS budget gloves to hit 10/3 or 9/3. But I don't know if I'd call that GG when the rest of the mods are not useful at low level (where Edge is designed for) or high level, where other gear out-competes it. Maybe "sucks" is overkill, but its best mod is in fact "saves you tens of millions of gold while gambling at high level" with the next best mod being the demon/undead thing. So when you said Edge has "GG" mods, I don't really agree. Or just some perfect emeralds, sapphires, and topazes so your bow attacks slow enemies (keep them back) while dealing poison damage and other major ele damage. Well, you can get the same thing by slapping Tal Ral Ort into some random bow and probably get higher DPS. So basically, at low level, you are benefitting MOSTLY from the poison damage and stats. It's better now, but on a bowzon or any bow character, you REALLY don't want to be hit or even attacked in melee range. You also don't tend to have enough other IAS gear to hit any meaningful breakpoints that early in the game.ĭamage to undead and demons is okay, but low level bows have terrible physical damage, so you're amplifying like 10-30 damage up. IAS is not great at low level because you don't have enough mana to spam bows attacks yet, mana leech would be better. Life leech at low level isn't good because you don't do enough physical damage to leech much back. You see any guides saying "Use Edge" even at low level? Not really, because it's not very good.
